These Pendleton Gather blankets are robe size, which is the size preferred by Native Americans for ceremonial purposes and wrapping about oneself as a robe. These blankets fit perfectly over a double bed, can be used for wall hangings or just for cuddling up on the sofa.

Like the pinÌon tree, members of the Navajo Nation gather resources to survive an increasingly precarious water supply. DineÌ artist Emma Robbins has gathered symbols of endurance for this design; a saÌanii (maternal grandmother) scarf crossed by traditional sash belts used in ceremonies and childbirth. At the center, a young woman's bracelet of silver is set with turquoise, a stone formed by rare rains flowing through arid layers of rock. A portion of blanket sales will support DigDeepâs Navajo Water Project. Napped.
Felt bound. Unnapped. 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton.
